Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas . This book was an “eye opener” for me. I often wondered how the German people, after World War II, could say that they did not know about the death camps. It is frightening to compare their culture to ours and see our moral downward trend without the populous realizing the consequences. I’m thankful for this book and Bonhoeffer’s sacrifice for Christianity.

Joni & Ken, An Untold Love Story by Ken and Joni Eareckson Tada with Larry Libby. This is Joni’s latest book. The topic is one about which I often wondered. It portrays the work any marriage requires and it realistically demonstrates how Christ in a male/female union can conquer all difficulties. If my schedule had permitted I would have read it through in one sitting. Go on the Internet and get a list of the books in the series so that you read them in order.
